Mixer truck, a special truck used to transport concrete for construction purposes; it is also often referred to as a snail truck or olive truck because of its shape. These trucks are equipped with cylindrical mixing drums to carry the mixed concrete.
The drum is kept rotating during transport to ensure that the concrete does not solidify. After the concrete has been delivered, the inside of the drum is usually washed with water to prevent the residual concrete from hardening and taking up space, thus reducing the volume of the drum.
Concrete mixer trucks consist of a vehicle chassis and a special concrete mixing and transportation device. The chassis of the concrete mixer truck produced in China mostly adopts the second class general chassis provided by the vehicle manufacturer. The special mechanism mainly includes the power take-off device, the front and rear support of the mixing cylinder, the reducer, the hydraulic system, the mixing cylinder, the manipulation mechanism, the cleaning system and so on. The working principle is that the power of the vehicle chassis is taken out through the power take-off device, and the variable pump of the hydraulic system is driven to convert the mechanical energy into hydraulic energy and transmit it to the dosing motor, which then drives the reducer, which drives the mixing device to mix the concrete.
