A tipper is a vehicle that unloads its own cargo by means of a hydraulic or mechanical lift. Also known as a tipper. It consists of a vehicle chassis, a hydraulic lifting mechanism, a cargo compartment and a power take-off device.

The carriage of a tipper is divided into two types: rearward tipping and lateral tipping. The piston rod movement is controlled by the steering system, rearward tipping is more common, pushing the piston rod to make the carriage tipping, a few two-way tipping.

Range of application
In civil engineering, dump trucks often work in conjunction with excavators, loaders, belt conveyors and other construction machinery to form loading, transport and unloading lines for the loading and transport of earth, sand and gravel, and bulk materials.

Working principle
The structure of the engine, chassis and cab of the tipper is the same as that of a general load vehicle.

The high pressure oil enters the lifting hydraulic cylinder through the distribution valve and oil pipe, and the front of the carriage has a cab safety plate.

The engine drives the hydraulic pump through the transmission and power take-off device, and the hydraulic tipping mechanism of the carriage consists of the oil tank, hydraulic pump, distribution valve, lifting hydraulic cylinder, control valve and oil pipe.
